Cutline oops

Blame it on a non-football fan. Jack Procter was recruited by the Washington State University Cougars football team, not the Huskies. (University of Washington is home to the Huskies. Who knew?) Go Cougars! And, while at some point, Jack could possibly be addressed as Proctor Procter, he will not be Proctor Proctor because that would mean his name was misspelled, just like it was in the cutline accompanying his photo. Sorry, Jack.

Furthermore, unless you happen to be on one of the Hawaiian islands, the sun will not rise due west of Point Roberts on March 20, 2022 as described in last month’s front page photo cutline. Absent something truly strange happening, the earth will continue to spin in a counterclockwise manner (as viewed looking down on the North Pole) and the sun will continue to rise in the east.
