Re-Sources.org volunteer, Doug Stark of Beach Naturalists says the Point Roberts is fast becoming his favorite beach location. He and Sheila Byers, marine biologist from Nature Vancouver treated our walkers to exceptional guided presentations. Both Doug and Sheila would love to come back whenever we ask them to.
Attendees claimed that they are forever changed in their appreciation and knowledge of the Beach at Lily Point Marine Reserve.
We were graced with the presence of Steve Booth, resident biologist who joined Craig Jacks for the Forest Walk.
In 2011, PRCS will continue to sponsor education programs illuminating the environmental values of Lily Point. Sign up for email notice of these programs at www.prcslive.com. Our special thanks to Ben Van Buskirk for his support.
