Our effort is to ensure that both the developer, Lily Point LLC and Whatcom County Planning Department meet all requirements: Legal, Archeological, Environmental, Cultural, Wildlife, and Geologic Critical Area as it pertains to the Point Roberts Beach Club development.
Since 1993, Point Roberts Conservation Society’s long-standing mission is to protect, conserve and enhance the natural, social, cultural and spiritual environment of Point Roberts and in particular Lily Point.
PRCS is community-based conservation at it best. We represent the conscious land use values of our community and resist irresponsible development. Conversely we have been instrumental in providing guidance to Whatcom Land Trust and The Nature Conservancy in their decisions on purchasing land now known as Lily Point Marine Reserve.
The special beauty of this environment is our most treasured asset and we are dedicated to being vigilant on behalf of Point Roberts and on behalf of all those who love this place.
PRCS is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation accepting donations to help with our legal expenses.
