People have been attracted to Point Roberts since the Ice Age, when the first immigrants from Asia came down from Alaska through the British Columbia channels. APA Road tree canopy spared the chop

Following the submission of a revised traffic plan by the developers of the proposed Point Roberts Beach Club, county public works has dropped a road widening requirement that would have meant the removal of large maples along APA Road.

A record-breaking year for Dollars For Scholars

Awards Night, an annual event of the Point Roberts Dollars for Scholars, was a wonderful evening! On June 8 the community center was filled with parents, grandparents and friends who came to see students receive college scholarships.

Art show reception set for July 1

Art is popping up everywhere at the community center, and the Point Roberts parks and recreation district is teaming up with the Friends of the Library to celebrate it.

The art auction at the Point Roberts Community Center on Saturday, June 18 was its most successful fundraiser ever, netting more than $3,000 for the Point Roberts Arts and Music Festival.
