Paula Sweatt, stepdaughter of Douglas McBride, was the recipient of the 2001 Oilgear Ferris Foundation Scholarship. The award for merit and scholastic achievement is for $3,000 per year and is renewable for three additional years of college work.

The Oilgear Ferris Foundation Scholarship Program was initiated in 1974, for dependents of employees of The Oilgear Company. Doug McBride works for Oilgear as our Western Region Sales Manager. Paula is enrolling at Western Washington University to study chemical engineering ..

Caroline Bradbury graduated from the University of Washington, Spring 2001, with a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology. She is the daughter of Margot Griffiths and Tom Bradbury, both of Point Roberts.
